Conferences, Half Days,101 Day, and a TPT Sale!!!

It has been a long and crazy week!! This is why it is late Saturday night and I am getting my first post in for this week. My Monday started off with the flu epidemic, parent/teacher conferences, half days, and a 101 day...Yes, all in one day!! Why is it that half days are so much worse than full days???

Since it was a short day, our 101st day of second grade went super quick. My class did come to school dressed as 101 year olds. They looked fabulous!! Here are a few pictures:

Even though the day was extremely short we had lots of fun with the activities we did.

Along with the short days, we were also hit with the flu bug. I guess if this was the time for it to hit my class this was the week. Every day I had 5 different kids absent. I used the time to review concepts students were struggling on and do more one on one conferencing.

And let's not forget getting into the Superbowl Spirit. We are definitely cheering for our California team!! Of course this is quite obvious from the Superbowl Peeps we made!!

Can you tell my class wants the 49ers to win??? You can see that 2 of my students will be cheering for the Ravens. Of course we had to harass them a bit!!!

Here's to Kaepernick!! Tanner is cheering you on!!

Well, it's off to bed for me! I have to get up and make all of my goodies for the Superbowl party we are heading to.
